Easy Slow Cooker Rolled Rump Roast

Just made this tonight and it came out pretty darn good for something so easy!

Easy Slow Cooker Rolled Rump Roast
Ingredients
3 lb. rolled rump roast (or any other roast)
1 envelope Mrs. Grass's vegetable soup mix
1 10 3/4 oz. can condensed cream of onion soup, undiluted
soy sauce
salt
pepper

Directions
1.  Remove netting or ties from roast.  Trim excess fat.
2.  Sprinkle salt and pepper and rub into roast.  Go lightly on the salt (or skip it) because other ingredients have some in there.
3.  Put roast in slow cooker and pour in just enough soy sauce to wet the roast.
4.  In a bowl combine soup and dry soup mix.  Stir until well blended.
5.  Pour soup mix over roast so entire roast is covered.
7.  Cook 6-8 hours on low until the internal temperature reaches 170 F.
8.  Serve on top of mashed potatoes or make sandwiches with Italian bread.  Enjoy!

Note:  This roast is supposed to come out on the salty side because it's served with mashed potatoes or bread which complement it perfectly.  If you are planning on eating the meat plain and don't like salt, skip the salt in step #2 and use low sodium soy sauce.
