'Game of Thrones'–Inspired Dragon Fire Wings
Yields: 4 Prep Time: 0 hours 10 mins Total Time: 1 hour 20 mins

Ingredients

For the Marinade
1/2 c. low-sodium soy sauce
1 tsp. minced garlic
Juice of 1 lime
1 tbsp. grated ginger
1 tbsp. hot sauce or sriracha (optional)
For the Wings
2 lb. chicken wings

For the Dragon Fire Sauce
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. grated ginger
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. orange juice
4 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1/4 tsp. chipotle pepper flakes
1/2 tbsp. finely chopped habanero peppers (optional)

Directions

Make the marinade: Combine soy sauce, garlic, lime juice and ginger in a medium-sized bowl. (Optional: Add hot sauce or Sriracha, if you prefer spicy wings.)
Toss wings in marinade, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and leave it in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 350°. Place wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet and cook through completely (the meat shouldn’t be pink when you cut into it, and the juices should run clear), 38 to 40 minutes.
Make the sauce: Whisk all ingredients (including chopped habanero, if you like things Khaleesi-hot!) and toss cooked wings in sauce. Serve.

White Walker Dragon Cake
Yields: 12 servings Prep Time: 0 hours 10 mins Total Time: 1 hour 45 mins

Ingredients

Cooking spray
1 box chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients called for on box
2 c. (4 sticks) butter, softened
5 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. heavy cream
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Pinch of kosher salt
Teal food coloring
Black food coloring
Black gel icing
Blue sanding sugar

Directions

Make cake: Preheat oven to 350°. Line three 8" round cake pans with parchment and grease with cooking spray. Make cake mix according to package directions and divide batter evenly between prepared pans. Bake until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean, 15 to 17 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes, then invert onto a cooling rack to cool completely.
Meanwhile, make frosting: In a large bowl, beat butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar and beat until no lumps remain. Add cream, vanilla, and a pinch of salt and beat until combined. Set aside about ⅓ cup of frosting and dye it with teal food coloring. Dye remaining frosting a dark gray with black food coloring.
Add about ¼ of the gray frosting to one layer of cake and spread into an even layer. Top with a second layer of cake and frost with another ¼ of the frosting. Top with the third layer and frost the top and sides with a thin layer of gray frosting. Place remaining gray frosting in a piping bag fitted with large round tip.
Pipe an even row of dots vertically down the side of the cake. Use an offset spatula to gently smear each dot horizontally. At the edge of each smeared dot, pipe a new row of dots and repeat until you’ve reached all the way around the cake.
Using an offset spatula, spread a thin layer of teal frosting into some of the dots. Scattering them to look like dragon scales.
On the top, use black gel to pipe the outline of an eye in the center of the cake. Pipe a black oval in the center as the pupil, then fill in the rest of the eye with blue sanding sugar.

White Walkers Milkshake Shots
Yields: 16 Prep Time: 0 hours 10 mins Total Time: 0 hours 10 mins

Ingredients

2 c. vanilla bean ice cream (plus a scoop more for lining the glasses)
1 c. Vanilla Vodka
1 container clear sanding sugar
1/3 c. Blue Curacao

Directions

In a blender, combine ice cream and vodka (setting aside a small scoop of ice cream to rim the drinks). Set milkshake mixture aside.
Dip the rim of each shot glass in a small cup of ice cream, coating the edge. Pour sanding sugar onto a small plate. Dip the glass in the sanding sugar, so it covers the ice cream completely.
Pour about a teaspoon of Blue Curacao into each shot glass. Fill to the top with the milkshake. Stir to create a swirled effect and serve.
